2015

The tradition continues in 2015! Iche Nippy Dip Day will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at the head spring at Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., the dip is at 10 a.m., and—new this year—there will be a bathrobe contest following the dip. Warm beverages and light refreshments will be available. The event is free with regular park admission, $6 per vehicle. For more information, call the park at 386-497-4690.

2014

As of the first Saturday in January 2014, Iche Nippy Dip Day is a new tradition at Ichetucknee Springs State Park—a chance to celebrate the New Year by taking a dip in the headspring’s 72-degree waters!

Ichetucknee Alliance Directors Bob Knight and Cathy Street participated in the inaugural Iche Nippy Dip Day along with our friend Merrillee Malwitz-Jipson of Our Santa Fe River, who has generously been providing the Alliance with meeting space at her family’s business, Rum 138.

Can you tell that it was cold? And what do you think of the Fashionistas’ cozy outfits?

We hope some of the Alliance’s members will join us for next year’s Iche Nippy Dip Day!
